Our July trip is coming to a close as we paddle towards the East end of Crooked lake. The narrow passageways make for a very scenic paddle catching glimpses of wood ducks, loons, eagles, and even a mink. The episode comes to a close with the magnificent cliffs that tower over the end of the lake.

Bill–
I’ve just discovered this site and have to say that your videos are such a joy to watch! They are quite relaxing and “real” without a lot of slick over-production. You are a natural in front of the camera in an appealing “everyman” sort of way. It’s fun to re-live trips I’ve taken and get a peak at areas I dream about going to through these shows. I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into them and it’s work that has been well done. Thank you!

Hi Jim,
Great to hear from you. Thank you for the kind comments. We do enjoy creating the episodes. We started this so people who are unable to visit the BWCA due to physical limitations or geographical limitations would be able to experience trips into the wilderness. We love hearing feedback from those that watch the shows. We have more shows on the way. Check back in a few weeks. I hope to have one out soon.
Have a nice weekend.

Bill,
At the age of 64 I will be taking my first trip into the Boundary Waters this July. For that reason I am looking online to gleen all the information that I can. I came across your site and what a marvelous job you with all your information and great videos.
My friend and I will be hooking up with Wilderness Journey outfitter and entering at point 22 (Mudro Lake I think). We are spending 6 days going up through Crooked Lake.
Needless to say, I am very excited.
Keep up the great work!
Brian
@Brian: Hi Brian, Sounds like your going to have a great trip. I really love paddling on Crooked lake. Thanks for taking the time to watch our shows. Nice to hear you enjoy them. We’ll have more released soon.
